We are not from Kingsville but from Houston. We came to visit the college but wanted to stop to eat and glad we did. The food was really good. I got the barbacoa plate and it was delicious I also tried the menudo and it did not disappoint. I am really glad we found a spot to eat for when we come visit our son..
Mexican menu is pretty good. My kids all had a burger, and they loved them. I've heard their Javalina burger is very good. My kids had the pizza burger, they say it was very good.
It's a little out of the way for me but I really enjoy the breakfast tacos. I need to go back to try some of the lunch dishes. I did try a burger but it wasn't my favorite, not bad tho. It seems to be a popular spot so the parking lot can be a bit crowded.
Burger was great a bit pricey but tastes pretty good I had the javelina burger I do wish the prices were a little more affordable tho also wishing they added more bacon to the burgers
We were on our way back to San Antonio from Padre when we stopped here and man, they did not disappoint! Some of the best Mexican food I have ever had. We want to make this a regular stopping point whenever we are in the area.
This was my first dine in experience. I should eat here more often. The food was good. I had Migas, I like that they had a fresh taste and were still warm. Probably some of the best made Migas in town. Service is also some of the best I've experienced. Workers are always there to top off your drinks.

I can't believe this place has only 10 reviews! I have tried a lot of restaurants in the empty land between the Valley and San Antonio and none of them are as good as Mariachis. The burgers are excellent for starters. Also I don't know of a better deal than their tostadas. You can get two for 5 bucks and be very full! I have yet to have a bad meal here. Chips are made in house and salsa is excellent. Also the woman who owns it is a very kind person who cares about her customers. Great mix of local characters coming in to eat as well. Very much worth the five or so minutes off the freeway for this detour!
One of the best burgers ever! Small place but friendly and old style diner feel. Chips and homage salsa comes out first. You can choose the more traditional Mexican dishes (Tortas are wonderful) or go for the beef. I got the Mex Burger with pepper jack, avocado, bacon lettuce tomato and onion. We also got steak and avocado salad. It did not disappoint. If you are coming through this place is worth the grub stop!
